So the worst news of the century, Netflix is officially and sneakily raising its prices on long-standing customers. Those who were originally grandfathered in are no longer safe! This includes me and most likely all of you.
No, the price increase isn’t huge—it jumps from $7.99 to $9.99. But remember that most of us are poor. Steal our parents’ account, our ex-boyfriend’s, or, most despicably, one of our best friend’s parents’ account, poor. I’m guilty of the first and last in that list….
My defense: I already pay for Hulu. But I NEED access to everything because I can’t be shelling out the major dough for cable. Do these cable companies really have no idea why millennials are cutting the cord? Because it’s TOO expensive. Case closed.
Be prepared to pay a couple extra dollars, but Gossip Girl, Gilmore Girls, Friends and Breaking Bad are all on the line if you don’t.
